Black & White

I was in U.S. history the other day, and we was having a class discussion about Black and White. If you know about the Little Rock Nine, you know what school I go to. But we were talking about how our school had separation without them actually noticing. Like at lunch most Caucasians are on one side, and the Blacks are on the other side. But then we got on the subject of acting white. This girl made a statement that sometimes we have to go to the level of acting white. (I couldn't more disagree.) I felt that I made the conversation with one statement. I said " If someone goes into a job interview, for example, they don;t have to go in there acting white. I honestly don;t know what it means to ACT white. Everybody, whites and blacks, goes into that interview acting like they got some sense. [ New Subject] Black and White Music. That is the most ignorant thing someone could say. I don't know when, but one day while I was asleep, music got colors. If I'm not mistaken music was meant for us to have fun, feel, and relate to. I just think that's another way to prove that racism still exist in the slightest form.
